Xenical is most effective when taken three times daily with a reduced calorie diet. Each meal should contain no more than 30 percent of its calories from fat. Daily intake of fat, carbohydrates and protein should be evenly divided over three main meals. You may omit your dose of Xenical if you occasionally miss a meal of have one that does not contain fat.
Common side-effects associated with Xenical may include: abdominal discomfort or pain, anxiety, back pain, diarrhea, dizziness, oily discharge, gas with fecal discharge, fatty or oily stools, fecal urgency or incontinence.
