Retin-A Precautions:

It is very important that you disclose to your doctor any and EVERY single drug that you are currently taking, most importantly any lotions, creams or ointments and any acne products that you are currently using in order to avoid any interactions or reactions. Some people may not be able to take this drug including women that are nursing or who are pregnant; and anybody who is taking medications containing the following drugs: thiazide diuretic, tetracycline antibiotics, fluoroquinolone antibiotics, sulfonamide antibiotics; or a phenothiazine. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme weather when taking this drug. Do NOT apply this drug near the mouth, lips, ears or eyes.
